Black or White Design Highlights The first thing that really jumps out at you when you see this keyboard for the first time is just how big the keys are. I enjoyed your presentation. The Windows key did work well as a Command key replacement, although it’s in the wrong location for those who are used oeyboard Apple-centric keyboards. Functionality Highlights For a keyboard that isn’t specifically made for use with a Mac, I found that the Keboard E worked pretty well.
The only thing I dislike about the keyboard is that it periodically chews batteries — keybard I think this is my own fault. The only thing they need to come up with next is one you can fold up and put in your pocket.
Does this happen in all programs, or just in, for example, Word? The batteries are inserted into a channel concealed in the back of the keyboard, and the official battery life is 24 months. If the latter you can remap the correct character by creating a Word macro.
While the Rapoo E Wireless Ultra-Slim Keyboard isn’t specifically designed for use with the Mac, it’s definitely a device that should be on the radar for anyone seeking a new keyboard.
Any ideas to fix this would be welcome. For portability, the dongle can be keynoard away in a tiny area near the batteries in the “bump” on the bottom of the keyboard that serves to put the keyboard at a comfortable angle. Long battery life, a bargain price and a thin keyvoard are all pluses, while the large key size and close spacing of those keys might make typing difficult for those with small hands.
Take the length for example. This means that occasionally I replace the batteries twice within a week and then forget which ones are the duds, recharge them and do the same thing again several months later….
Either that or be prepared to replace it every few months! Yes, that really is only just over 30 cm long, or about the length of a standard desk ruler. Might it be the perfect keyboard for you too? I loved the ability to have a full numeric keypad on the keyboard, although I don’t do a lot of spreadsheet work that would require full-time access to rzpoo.
